The whiskey is a classic venue that still acts like class. The security? Insanely friendly and attentive. Literally brought my disabled partner a chair after seeing them with a cane. The bar staff? Friendly, funny, and quick. They WILL remember you if you order anything or start a tab. The bathrooms don't even smell. The men's room was clean and breathable.
The food there is not only really good, but also reasonably priced. $14 for a burger and fries AT A BAR DURING A SHOW. Even the impossible Burger was priced the same. Highly recommend grabbing something to eat if you're previous
Peckish during the show.
All in all, the whiskey is a rock out venue that deserves the fame it has.
Cool spot, saw a decrepit birth show the other night and had a great time. Place was surprisingly, refreshingly cool for a warm evening. Drinks were a little nuts, 7 for a club soda struck me as a bit excessive. Overall a good place to catch a show
What can someone say about such a famous place that others haven't already said? The music was incredible, especially Death Is A Virtue, Deadbeat Nightlife and of course, Austin Carlile. But the service was amazing. We sat at a booth and every few minutes the staff checked on us to see if we needed anything. They were all very friendly and seemed like they genuinely loved working there. It was very clean, even the bathroom! If you've never been, I highly recommend going to see a show there. You won't be disappointed.
